Using Time Freeze to freeze frames
You can create a freeze frame effect by using Time Freeze to hold a selected frame in a video clip for a specified duration. The “frozen” frame essentially functions as a still image for the duration you set. You can remove the freeze frame effect at any time.
To create a freeze frame effect by using Time Freeze
1 In the Timeline, select a clip and drag the scrubber so that the frame you want to freeze displays in the Player panel.
2 Right-click the clip and choose Time Freeze > Insert.
3 Type a value in the Duration box to specify the number of seconds that you want to freeze the frame, and click OK.
The freeze frame is indicated by a pink area on the Timeline clip.
The pink area in the middle of the clip indicates the freeze frame section.
To delete a freeze frame
1 In the Timeline, right-click a clip that has a freeze frame that has been created with Time Freeze.
2 Choose Time Freeze > Delete.
